Employee Spouse Cards

Spouses of current, regular, full and part-time faculty, staff, and retirees are eligible for a plastic Irish1Card. Card privileges include: library privileges, use of athletic facilities as outlined by the Department of Athletics; Notre Dame Bookstore and Golf Course greens fee discounts; Domer Dollars; and free admission to regular season play for men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s lacrosse. Requests for spousal cards should be made via the Self Service Portal or the Spousal ID Card Request. A Marriage certificate must be attached to the request. The employee will receive a confirmation email, which the spouse must present along with a picture ID to the Campus Card Office (423 Grace Hall) where a photo will be taken and the card printed. The fee is $25.00 and payable by credit or debit card. Spouses are not eligible to use the Irish1Card for mobile devices and must acquire a plastic Irish1Card.

Student Spouse Cards

The spouse of an active degree-seeking student may request a plastic Irish1Card. Card privileges include access to Student Activity events, (such as pep rallies, or student-only events at Legends) Rec Sports, the Library, and a Domer Dollar account. Spouses of undergraduate students should contact the Office of the Registrar to begin the process of requesting a card. Spouses of graduate students should begin the process at University Health Services here. Spouses are not eligible to use the Irish1Card for mobile devices and must acquire a plastic Irish1Card.
